GSoC Initial Contact
Hi MBdyn Team,
I am Shubham Chaudhary from Harcourt Butler Technical University. I am interested in the project "Blendyn Development". I have already uploaded my draft proposal on GSoC’s website. Here, I would like to show something for the entry test.
I simulated a simple 3D cartesian robot using MBDyn. The input file is also attached, as 3D_Cartesian_robot.mbd, where you can see all information for the example. The robot is quite simple and is controlled by cosine drive,it computes a function of the type:
f(t)=initial_value+amplitude·(1−cos(angular_velocity·(t−initial_time)))
carefully changing a few values, I was able to get the desired periodic motion. I have also simulated the model using blender. Video Link of the simulation
As the project Blendyn Development requires us to create a simple blender model using Blender Python API, I have created a simple object using screw. I have been learning to write python scripts to create blender model and I was planning to make something better but the deadline is pretty close so.

I hope to contribute to the development of MBdyn and I would like to improve my draft proposal.
