Debugging Code

Hello everyone,

First of all, I just uploaded a new post on my GSoC blog:

As you will see in this post, I have been trying to improve my workflow for coding. So, I wanted to ask you for advice regarding the best practices for debugging. The way I have been doing it is printing out messages on the terminal. However, I am trying this tool called VS code, and I would like to ask if any of you have experience. It is totally fine for editing and compiling, but I wanted to be able to use breakpoint and other debugging functionalities.

I browsed a little and I tried to create my own application, and it worked fine. It requires some .json file for debugging. I would appreciate if you could walk me around to use it, or suggest a different Idle.
